A colourful card for the love of my life

So many old and brittle tiles. Such a shame there is no chance to re-use them

We are being very careful with the removal of door frames etc so that we can reinstate them in their correct and original locations.

The Pantheon is probably the most moving architectural experience I have ever had. I was profoundly moved by the simplicity and clarity of the space and even though the room was full of people, I felt like I was still able to full appreciate the space.

Final Design – External Perspectives

This is the original timber decking which we removed a few weeks back. It appears that this deck was built at the same time as the house, which means these boards of which there are about 50m2, has had 90 odd years to season.

One set of blue and one set of the purple RSVP envelopes.

Here is a whole set of boards getting their final touch-ups before getting their light sanding and finishing. Very satisfying and if it wasn’t so cold in the shed in Katoomba, maybe I would have stood around with a beer admiring my work…

The Abacus board finds a home in the washing up rack. (Please don’t soak!! :)

The board can be used for lots of things cutting, resting etc, or indeed just be a nice looking object in the centre of the table.
